For the fourth year in a row, the City of Delta will be participating in the City Nature Challenge. Help us to explore, discover and share the incredible biodiversity found in Delta by observing nature all around us – birds, bats, butterflies, molluscs, trees, shrubs, ferns and more!
Participation is easy. Simply:
- Visit iNaturalist.org and create an account
- Join the City of Delta project here: City Nature Challenge 2025: Metro Vancouver Regional District (MVRD) · iNaturalist Canada
- Make observations of a wild animal, plant or fungus from April 25-28.
Observations can be uploaded directly through your phone, or uploaded on your computer through to May 4.
