Fitness Programs in Delta 

Parks, Recreation & Culture offers a wide range of fitness options, designed for all ages and abilities.  Our goal is to encourage an active lifestyle by providing a wide variety of fitness opportunities – something for everyone to stay Active in Delta!  Try it!

There's always something new being offered in fitness programming.  For example, you can:

  • Get on the Ball! with our Stability Ball Classes
  • Feel the Rhythm! with Zumba 

We offer drop-in and registered classes for all levels of fitness – select a class, time, location and pace that suits you. Check the Leisure Guide or use the Activity Search for registered programs, as well as drop-in activities and facility schedules. There is a fitness program for every age, and every fitness level. Whether you have been active all your life or just starting something new, we can motivate, educate and inspire you to become a healthy member of an active community.  Learn it!

Drop-in Group Fitness Classes

From Strength & Stretch to Step Classes, you can find what you are looking for to help you stay active. Registered BCRPA Instructors guide you through your moves in a safe and energetic group setting.  Drop-in fitness classes can be found using the Activity Search or by viewing the printable facility schedules for North Delta Recreation Centre, Ladner Leisure CentreSungod Recreation CentreWinskill Aquatic & Fitness Centre and South Delta Recreation Centre. Live it!

Personal Training Programs

Looking for a more personalized approach to fitness? Your fitness program can be tailored to meet your needs, with support to meet your personal goals and objectives. Just starting out? Book an introductory session with one of our fitness specialists for a fitness evaluation and a weight room orientation session.  Need some new workout ideas, a more challenging program, or a tailor-made routine?
