Gateway Casinos and Entertainment Limited Application Public Information Meetings

The City of Delta is hosting a series of Public Information Meetings for the proposed development at 6005 Highway 17A (see location map below).  The proposal is for an entertainment complex with a casino, hotel, multiple restaurants and meeting facilities.  The purpose of these meetings is to provide information on the application and answer questions.  You are invited to attend one or more of these meetings, which will be held:

Meeting #1

Date: Thursday, February 1, 2018
Time: 4 pm - 8 pm (Open House)
Location: Harris Barn (4140 Arthur Drive)

Meeting #2

Date: Wednesday, February 7, 2018
Time: 4 pm - 8 pm (Open House)
Location: Sungod Recreation Centre (7815 112 Street)

Meeting #3

Date: Thursday, February 8, 2018
Time: 4 pm - 8 pm (Open House)
Location: Harris Barn (4140 Arthur Drive)

The public will have an opportunity to view display boards that provide current information about the application.  Delta staff and representatives from the British Columbia Lottery Corporation and Gateway Casinos and Entertainment Limited will be available to answer questions between 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm.

Key Application Facts: 

The application is for a development with a casino, a hotel with approximately 116 rooms, restaurants and meeting facilities on the property at 6005 Highway 17A (current site of the Delta Town and Country Inn).  The application involves a request to rezone the subject property from C3 Commercial Tourist Zone to a new zone that would permit the proposed uses.  The proposed entertainment complex would have a total floor area of approximately 15,113 m2 (162,678 ft2), including a 4,366 m2 (47,000 ft2) casino.  A total of 800 parking spaces are also proposed.
