In 2017, National Heritage Week and BC Heritage Week will be celebrated over two weeks from February 13 – 26. Check out our event listing and celebrate Delta's heritage with us!

Heritage Hunt Photo Contest

Go on a heritage hunt and win great prizes! From February 13 – 26, we'll post one historical photo per day on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Use the #DeltaHeritage hashtag to identify where and when the photo was taken and the story behind it.

Participants with the correct answers will be entered into a draw in which three winners will be randomly chosen. Entrants are limited to one submission, per person, per photo.

Heritage Colouring Contest

From February 7 – 26 children 12 years old and under are invited to participate in a heritage-themed colouring contest. Participants can pick one of two contest entries to complete:

Colouring sheets are also available at Delta’s recreation centres and libraries. Once completed, entries can be dropped off at any local recreation facility or library, or at Municipal Hall. Prizes will be awarded to contestants in three age groups, chosen by random draw. Coloured sheets will be displayed at when the contest closes.
