Winter Preparedness in Delta

Dec 02, 2016

Winter is just around the corner which means that Delta is now on alert for snow and icy conditions.

Delta is anticipating a cooler winter season with more precipitation than last year. As a result, Delta staff members are constantly monitoring roads and our operations crews are prepared to respond 24 hours a day, seven days a week. See Delta Engineering's full report on Winter Season Preparedness.

Roads can get wet, icy, and slippery during this time of year. In the event of snow and ice, roads are cleared based on priorities, as established in Delta's Snow and Ice Control Policy.

To keep updated about weather conditions, call Delta's winter road conditions hotline at 604-952-3820. The message is updated every four hours during a snow/ice event.

Updates will also be made on Delta's Twitter and Facebook accounts.
