2019 Remembrance Day Ceremonies

On Monday, November 11, 2019, the City of Delta will honour those who served Canada in the First World War, Second World War, Korean War, as well as those who have served since at two Remembrance Day Ceremonies.

Please join us in commemorating these individuals at the Remembrance Day Ceremony closest to you:

North Delta

Hosted by Kennedy Seniors Society

Location: North Delta Social Heart Plaza, 11415 84 Avenue
Ceremony: 10:40am
Reception: Reception to follow the ceremony at North Delta Recreation Centre 

South Delta

Hosted by the Royal Canadian Legion Delta Branch 61

Location: Memorial Park, 47 Avenue & Garry Street, Ladner
Parade: 10:15 am from the Legion at 4896 Delta Street to the Cenotaph at Memorial Park
Ceremony: 10:45am

Please note that at 11am, all activities in Delta Parks, Recreation & Culture facilities will pause in a moment of silence.

Delta City Hall – Closed

Delta Community Animal Shelter – Closed

South Delta Recreation Centre – Open for regular scheduled programs and rentals. Customer service office will be open 8:30 am–9 pm.

North Delta Recreation Centre – Open for regular scheduled programs and rentals. Customer service office will be open 6 am–10 pm. The Municipal Services Office will be closed. 

Tsawwassen Arts Centre – Closed 

McKee Seniors Recreation Centre – Closed 

Kennedy Seniors Recreation Centre – Closed

Winskill Aquatic and Fitness Centre – Regular operating hours

Sungod Recreation Centre – Regular operating hours

Ladner Leisure Centre – Regular operating hours
