You are invited to participate in a discussion about protecting Ladner’s heritage character into the future.

Date: Tuesday, February 13, 2018

Time: 7:00 pm to 7:30 pm (Open House), 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm (Introduction & Discussion)

Place: Ladner Community Centre, Multi-Purpose Room, 4734 – 51 Street, Ladner

Following Council’s adoption of a new Heritage Strategy, a study of heritage conservation areas in Ladner was initiated. The study is to explore the possibility of expanding or adding to existing heritage conservation areas in Ladner. Heritage conservation areas are intended to protect existing heritage landmarks and landscapes, encourage preservation and restoration of heritage buildings or structures, and ensure that new development is sensitive to the heritage context.

The session will be an opportunity to discuss these issues, as well as how heritage property owners might benefit for their added responsibilities as heritage stewards.
