Celebrate Heritage Week in Delta!

Jan 29, 2018

From February 17-25, Delta will celebrate Heritage Week with a variety of events, displays, and awards for heritage preservation and restoration. Heritage Week is presented by Delta’s Heritage Advisory Commission, in partnership with Mayor Lois E. Jackson and Council.

“Delta’s heritage is the foundation of our vibrant and sustainable community; Heritage Week reminds us of Delta’s rich history, something which we are proud to honour,” says Mayor Lois E. Jackson.

The Mayor will announce the opening of Heritage Week and present Friends of Heritage Awards at the Council meeting in North Delta on February 19 at 7 pm
at the Kennedy Seniors Recreation Centre, 11760-88th Avenue.
