The second week of Delta’s 2017 Heritage Celebration is in full swing and there are some fantastic demonstrations and events coming up. At 1 pm on February 22, the North Delta Recreation Centre hosts a History of Net Work in the Fishing Industry, allowing residents the opportunity to learn about the artistry behind one of the most integral elements of Delta’s past. Cammidge House features a few insightful events on February 26, notably a demonstration on quilting at 1 pm and a talk on South Delta’s History at 2 pm. To learn more about these events, as well as the Heritage Colouring Contest and Heritage Hunt Photo Contest, visit Delta.ca.
