Paterson Park Licence Agreement
At the April 25, 2016 Executive Meeting, Council considered the report from the Parks, Recreation and Culture Department dated April 5, 2016 regarding Paterson Park Licence Agreement and unanimously endorsed the following recommendations:

A.  THAT a licence agreement between the Corporation of Delta and Kwantlen Polytechnic University for the operational delivery of Paterson Park by the Corporation of Delta be approved, generally in the form presented (Attachment A of the report).

B.  THAT the Mayor and Municipal Clerk be authorized to execute the licence agreement on behalf of the Corporation of Delta.

C.  THAT this report be released to the next Regular Meeting of Council.

Removal of Retaining Wall at 7541 Barrymore Drive
At the June 27, 2016 Executive Meeting, Council considered the report from the Community Planning and Development Department dated June 9, 2016 regarding Removal of Retaining Wall at 7541 Barrymore Drive (Devriendt) and unanimously endorsed the following recommendations:

A. THAT it be declared that the existing retaining wall located at 7541 Barrymore Drive is creating an unsafe condition and thereby creating a significant risk to the safety of persons using the public walkway;

B. THAT the owners of the property, Paul R Devriendt and Mary J Devriendt, be ordered to remove the retaining walls and slope the land to a stable slope as prescribe by a geotechnical engineer at the property located at 7541 Barrymore Drive within forty-five (45) days of receipt of this Order. The time limit for seeking reconsideration of this Order is fourteen (14) days;

C. THAT this declaration and Order be served on all affected persons, in accordance with Section 77 of the Community Charter,

D. THAT Council authorize staff to seek an Order from the BC Supreme Court if the owners fail to remove the retaining wall within forty-five (45) days of receipt of this Order; and,

E. THAT this report be released to a Regular Meeting of Council.
