2016 Delta Trades and Technical Career Fair

Apr 21, 2016

Since 2013, the Corporation of Delta has provided young people and individuals at an occupational cross-road with an opportunity to realize their passions. Once again, Delta is aiming to inspire members of the broader community by bringing together exhibitors from a wide variety of occupational and educational backgrounds to Sungod Recreation Centre for the 2016 Delta Trades and Technical Career Fair.

On April 28, 2016, this annual free event will give attendees access to industry professionals and allow them to explore trades and technical careers through hands-on, interactive exhibits. Furthermore, featured demonstrations will be presented on the Show Stage to give more insight into specific professions. This year’s Show Stage line-up includes Delta School District Robotics, White Spot, Canadian Welding Association, and the Delta School District Apprenticeship Award Presentations.

With over 90 exhibits promoting a range of possibilities, from agriculture to welding, and emergency services to hair design, there is bound to be something for everyone. Whatever your passion is, there’s a career for it. Now’s the time to be a real something.
