Please see the email from Canada Post to Delta CAO George V. Harvie regarding the installation of community mail boxes:

Subject: Community Mail Boxes - Delta

Hello Mr. Harvie: as requested by Mr. Fraser, this email is to inform you that Canada Post intends to begin the installation of new community mail boxes in Delta in the coming days. Our anticipated start date is next Tuesday, but this could be moved up or back by a few days, pending the completion of work in other communities.

This change affects approximately 4,900 addresses with postal codes beginning with V4K.

If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know.

The community mailbox transition program is a Canada Post initiative being implemented in the community. The Corporation of Delta understands this process can be challenging and our staff is working to make sure our community is informed.

Delta has had no say in the locations of the community mailboxes, as the authority to determine the locations rests solely with Canada Post.

Canada Post has requested that anyone with questions or concerns regarding the community mailbox transition process call Canada Post's dedicated toll-free line at 1-844-454-3009 or visit canadapost.ca
