Construction to upgrade the existing pedestrian activated signal on 116 Street and 90 Avenue with advanced warning flashers is under way and scheduled to be completed by mid September. Thank you for your patience throughout construction.
The 116 Street and 90 Avenue traffic signal upgrades includes two new advanced warning flashers in the northbound and southbound directions to provide motorists warning that the signal is yellow or red. Work of this nature includes the installation of new poles, bases, signs, flashing beacons, tree relocations and minor tree trimming to ensure sight lines are clear.
Construction for the 116 Street and 90 Avenue advanced warning flashers began June 2017 and is anticipated to be completed by September.
