The City of Delta is undertaking a Housing Action Plan in 2019-2020 to address Delta’s specific housing needs in all areas of the housing continuum, ranging from emergency shelter to attainable homeownership. The Housing Action Plan will assess the housing needs throughout the city and develop strategies to respond to these needs today and into the future.
What's going on?
Phase 1 – Perform a Housing Needs Assessment
A Housing Needs Assessment for all of Delta will establish the current situation including quantitative data analysis, public consultation, stakeholder engagement, and the identification of current and future housing gaps.
Phase 2 – Draft the Housing Action Plan
The Housing Action Plan will include goals and action items to address gaps identified in the housing needs assessment.
Tell us about your housing needs!
