Delta Childcare Needs Assessment

In 2019 the Union of BC Municipalities provided funding for City of Delta to complete a Childcare Needs Assessment and Strategy.  Working with partner agencies throughout Delta and the Social Planning and Research Council of British Columbia (SPARC BC), the project began in July of 2019 and will be completed in the spring of 2020.

Step One: Online Survey

The online survey for parents and guardians needing childcare services in Delta was available for six weeks on and closed on October 18, 2019.

Step Two: Childcare Community Engagement Meeting

Childcare Community Engagement Meetings will be held in North and South Delta to provide residents with the opportunity to share their thoughts, ideas, and solutions for how to improve the quality, accessibility, and affordability of childcare in Delta. Residents will also receive an update on the current status of the Delta Childcare Needs Assessment. We look forward to seeing you there!
